John “Jack” Bixler

Jack founded Spruce Financial Group in 2021 with the vision of applying his personal experience to create opportunistic debt and equity investments with a focus on large-scale 1st mortgage bridge loans. Mr. Bixler oversees all investor relations, asset management, due diligence, underwriting, and operational aspects of the firm. Before starting Spruce, Mr. Bixler spent time in Atlanta with an investment banking firm that focused primarily on alternative lending. There, he worked sourcing, funding, and managing Mezzanine and Senior-Secured Private Business loans for four years. Prior to this, Mr. Bixler was a Financial Analyst in the Corporate Development department at Cotiviti, an Atlanta-based auditing firm, which, at the time, served 21 of the top 25 U.S. healthcare insurance payers. Mr. Bixler attended Florida State University for an undergraduate degree before earning his M.B.A. at The Georgia Institute of Technology with a concentration in Quantitative and Computational Finance. Mr. Bixler holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golf, and Florida State Football.
