Luke Mersberger

Luke joined Spruce as a summer intern before transitioning into a full-time position. Before Spruce, Luke worked at Rollins Financial, an Atlanta-based RIA, where he assisted financial advisors in executing trades, monitoring portfolios, and analyzing asset allocation strategies for clients. He has also worked at ID Fund, a Florida-based VC firm specializing in late-stage, one-off VC investments.

At Spruce, Luke focuses primarily on the initial intake of new opportunities, research and financial modeling, operational support, and communication with investors and partner firms. He graduated from the Terry College of Business with a degree in Finance and a specialization in Pricing and Valuation. While in school, he was also an analyst with the University’s Student Managed Fund, which oversees part of the school’s endowment.

On his own, Luke manages his family’s private office and oversees a portfolio of Public Equities, VC, PE, Private Credit, and Real Estate Investments. He also owns a hydroponic farming facility and wedding venue in West Georgia called Four Bridges at Foxwood. Originally from Marietta, GA, Luke enjoys spending time with his dog, Mumford, woodworking, skiing, and traveling when not at the office.
